Ms.Dondapati is a rising sophomore at New York University for Undergraduate Studies where she is pursuing a dual degree in Global Public Health and Anthropology. She is working on analyzing various cultural traditions through the lens of healthcare. She aspires to examine complex relationships within economic, political, cultural, physical and biological environments and apply anthropological approaches to these public health problems.
This year, Ms.Dondapati will also be conducting research in shared decision-making within the ER at NYU’s Langone Medical Center. She hopes to apply her research to IJP’s own HARP program.
On campus Ms.Dondapati is an active and riding EMT, Organizes events for and mentors underclassmen as an orientation leader, and plays Major League Quidditch.
One day, Ms.Dondapati wants to be an ER Physician where she is actively working towards changing policy in efforts to bridge theory, research, and practice with public health principles. Her end goal is to improve health outcomes among diverse populations. She is very excited to be apart of the IJP team!
