Ms. Anna Gomelauri is a rising second-year student at Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. She graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University, completing her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Italian studies.
Ms. Gomelauri’s experiences include a summer internship with the Tbilisi, Georgia office of DLA Piper. The position introduced her to the intricacies and challenges of international law. Additionally, she was an intern for Judge Donald R. Venezia, a Superior Court Judge in the Criminal Law Division. These opportunities, along with Ms. Gomelauri’s personal immigration experience to the United States from the Republic of Georgia, helped shape her immense interest in the international law and human rights. She wishes to contribute as much of her skills and attention to the International Justice Project while learning more about the powerful work that the organization does.
