IJP Co-Founder Raymond M. Brown Presented With Thurgood Marshall College Fund Award of Excellence

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund 11th Annual Awards of Excellence recognized IJP co-founder, Raymond M. Brown, at its annual dinner on Thursday, 24 March 2011.  The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF), named for the U.S. Supreme Court’s first African-American Justice, endeavors to “prepare a new generation of leaders” by  offering financial support to students attending the member schools of the TMCF. Awards of Excellence are presented to individuals who share this commitment to education. This year, the Fund also honored Barbara Bell Coleman, Jerry Izenberg, Lawrence S. Lustberg and Judge Shirley A. Tolentino.

The award was presented to Brown by Wanda M. Akin, IJP Vice President and Brown’s wife, and Deborah Brown Bowles, Brown’s sister.
