Ademola Salami is a native of Togo, West Africa, where he received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Lome, with a concentration in international and administrative laws. Mr. Salami is currently developing an independent research paper on the African Union’s (AU) relationship with the International Criminal Court (ICC), which addresses issues of State cooperation with the ICC, Third World approaches to International Law and the AU’s responsibility to respect international law. Ademola is also a member of the United African Coalition, an organization that promotes civic engagement and active participation in U.S. politics. In addition, he holds a B.A. in political science from Lehman College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned the recognition of Lehman Hero nominee for his outstanding student involvement.
