Ciatta Z. Baysah

Ciatta Z. Baysah received a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, New Jersey Bar and New York Bar, First Department. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Ms. Baysah is cognizant of West African cultural and legal traditions. She has experience in a wide variety of types of cases including criminal defense in state and federal courts, federal civil litigation, personal injury, marital disputes, post-divorce actions, child custody and support, and municipal court matters.
From 2006 to 2010, Ms. Baysah was the chief operations officer for the International Justice Project (IJP).  Ms. Baysah has been vital to each submission before the Court and has managed the 60-plus interns that support the work of the IJP.
Ms. Baysah has presented on panels in New York and the District of Columbia and attended seminars and training programs for counsel listed to practice before the Court at the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands.  She represented the IJP at the 12th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice held in Salvador do Bahia, Brazil 12- 19 April 2010.
